The history of the -MAWEK- battery chargers
The story begins in 2006, when the -MAWEK- team needed a high-quality battery charger for its own test workshop.
Despite an intensive search, we were unable to find a device on the market that met our requirements.
The products we tested were disappointing with outdated technology, unstable housings, poorly legible displays, cables that were far too thin, illogical operation, missing functions, etc.
We were downright shocked when we checked the performance specifications. None of the products we checked met their own catalog specifications! The most frequently used "trick" works like this: In the brochure, you simply state an impressively high ampere rating. The "small print" on the last page of the operating instructions (you have already bought the product) then states that the appliance can only deliver this power for a few completely insignificant seconds. The actual, continuous working power of the appliance is usually 30% to 50% lower!
It was clear to us: We can do better than that!
In the same year, we developed our first battery chargers (HFL16, HFL35, HFL65).
In 2007, after intensive testing, "DAIMLER AG" approves the -MAWEK- battery chargers for MERCEDES-BENZ vehicles.
With great dedication and passion, we are constantly developing new models with more functions, stable performance and simple operation.
MAWEK battery chargers quickly became a trendsetter and the international standard for professional power supply and use in vehicle workshops.
